Free Motorcycle Safety Classes

Greensboro police to host free motorcycle safety classes February 3, 2025

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Greensboro Police Department is hosting three free motorcycle skills training sessions this year as part of a program sponsored by the State Highway Patrol.

Police say the BikeSafe classes will be offered to motorcyclists in an effort to reduce the potential for accidents and injuries.

Greensboro police motorcycle officers will assess motorcyclists’ skills and offer advice on riding techniques and motorcycle control. The officers will also provide information about managing hazards, cornering, overtaking and avoiding collisions.

The BikeSafe classes will be part-classroom and part-roadway.

The classes will be held June 19, Aug. 15 and Oct. 1. Each class will begin at 8:45 a.m. at the Public Safety Training Facility at 1510 North Church St.
